Mizoram University is a central university under the University Grants Commission, Government of India, and was established on July 2, 2001, by the Mizoram University Act (2000) of the Parliament of India. The President of India is the official Visitor, and the Governor of Mizoram acts as the Chief Rector as per Mizoram University (Amendment) Bill, 2007.

World over, apprenticeship/Internship is considered as the most efficient and promising form of structured training for providing exposure to the real working environment. Apprenticeships/Internships enable students to pick up lots of new skills through hands-on work, and mentorship. Students who pursue the apprenticeship degree programs will have a definite advantage over other regular graduates because they will have deep experience of work knowledge in addition to theoretical knowledge.
Bachelor’s Program
As an apprentice/intern, you will be working at a company full time and earn a monthly stipend which is in line with the government regulations under the minimum wage act.
30% of the overall course credits in the UG apprenticeship linked degree program will depend on the apprenticeship/internship you will be pursuing in the 2nd and 3rd year. Therefore, it is mandatory for students to sincerely and dedicatedly pursue the internship opportunity provided by the university.
